FAQ

You Asked, We Answered

Why should you choose cold process soap over any old soap you can pick up at a store?

Many soaps purchased in a retail store are comprised of nasty synthetic ingredients as they are cost effective, and consumers have no idea. Additionally, these large soap producers extract all the good stuff and put it into the lotions they sell. Cold process soap preserves these wonderful properties that naturally occur. So, you get a nourishing bar of soap that won't strip your skin of natural oils.

Where can I buy your products?

Currently, we are selling locally in CT. We are currently working on our online payment as well as shipping. Please contact us directly at [email protected] to place your orders or if you would like to carry our products.

Are your ingredients organic?

Although we are not certified organic and not all of our ingredients are organic, we strive to source as many organic materials as possible to put into each bar of soap. If you have any questions about a specific product, feel free to view the item description or email us at [email protected].

Is your soap made with lye?

Yes, all real soap is made with lye. However, after the saponification process, all that is left is glycerin and soap.

Do your soaps have a "use by date"?

Once you purchase our soaps, we recommend using them within 6 months. The colors and scents will slowly fade over time, but your soaps will still be perfectly fine to use even after six months.

Will the botanical toppings clog my drain?

Most toppings are small and easily passed through plumbing. If you are concerned, please take a moment to brush off all botanicals/toppings off prior to use.

What form of payment do you take?

We take all major credit cards and PayPal payments.
